Limited Edition: Anna Brain for OVS

ENG: A couple of months back an Italian brand OVS approached me with an interesting offer of a collaborative project. Thus began my first real life experience of a designer collaboration. I don’t remember what the weather was like that day or what I ate for breakfast, but I remember the sleepless nights at sketch work, twenty-four hour brainstorms and emotions running high from everything that was happening around me, it will be committed to my memory for a long time.

RU: Пару месяцев назад известный итальянский бренд OVS предложил мне заманчивый совместный проект. Так началась моя первая в жизни дизайнерская коллаборация. Не помню, какая погода была в тот день и что я ела на завтрак, но бессонные ночи за работой над эскизами, круглосуточные brainstorm'ы и эмоции от всего происходящего точно запомнятся мне надолго.

I have to honestly admit that, everything that is going on around me, evokes me with a special unfamiliar lingering. I could compare it to jumping off with a parachute. A year and a half ago, if anyone where to tell me that everything will turn out the way it’s turning out, I would just be admiring the imagination of the speaker. But it is really happening; with a fluttering heart, friends, I am ready to present for your judge and jury the result of our work on a t-shirt design for the popular brand OVS. It is my first collaboration, the first “design” and idea experience of that kind – it is ever so flustering and amazing according to my inner feelings. A limited edition line of 200 t-shirts will already be on sale from August the 30st. It pains me to break the news for my readers from abroad, but they will only be sold in Russia – in the brand OVS shops in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Krasnodar. Getting a little ahead of myself, I will say this though, for my readers from abroad I have a special surprise stored away, but I will tell you soon enough. :)

Признаюсь честно, все происходящее вызывает во мне особый, незнакомый прежде трепет. Я бы сравнила это с прыжком с парашютом. Да уж, если бы кто-нибудь полтора года назад сказал мне, что все будет так, я бы восхитилась фантазией своего собеседника. Но это действительно происходит: с замиранием сердца, друзья, я готова представить на ваш суд результат работы над дизайном футболки для популярного бренда OVS. Это первая подобная коллаборация, первый "дизайнерский" и идейный опыт подобного рода - оттого такой волнительный и необыкновенный по моим внутренним ощущениям. Лимитированная линия, выпущенная тиражом всего в 200 экземпляров, поступит в продажу уже 30 августа. Увы, вынуждена огорчить иностранных читателей: продаваться футболки будут только на территории России - в фирменных магазинах OVS в Москве, Санкт-Петербурге и Краснодаре. Но, забегая вперед, скажу, что и для иностранных читателей у меня заготовлен специальный сюрприз, о котором я расскажу в ближайшее время. :)
