Best Places: Bar.Ber Room Opening In Riga

ENG: My wonderful friend A. opened his own bar in the very centre of Riga last weekend. The party been spread for two days. But here I am, full of impressions and photos by Polaroid, of course. Let's see how it was.

RU: В прошлые выходные мой потрясающий друг А. открыл собственный бар в самом центре Риги. Вечеринка растянулась на выходные. Но вот я, полная впечатлений, и, конечно же, фотографий Polaroid. О том, как это было.

From airplane straight to the ball. That`s a likely story! 15 minutes by taxy – and we are in the centre of old Riga, which is impossible to be seen through that night. But no matter which way you look at it, no way to pass by the green sign of Bar.ber Room.
Colorful carpets are spread at entrance, 80 disco balls and extremely incomparable sound. One only Fedya Fomin is at the DJ Table, whose music is adored to dance to just as in Russia so in Latvia.
“Shot!” – A. says and holds out “Beluga” and black caviar. This cocktail is the main masterpiece of Bar.ber Room. There is not less remarkable stand with perfume on the chains near WC and the fact that the bar turns into hairdressing salon in the afternoon. This is the bar where you have cut hair at the daytime, and dance in the evening.
When "Royal T" starts to play, I understand, there will be the end of my heels so it`s time to liquidate it. Moreover it is already has been captured without the owner for Instagram by one more wondreamful A.
At this time my Moscow friend rocks the bar counter, not feeling sorry for his suit. By the way the highlighting bar counter is brought from Moscow with its atmosphere.

С самолета на бал. А именно так все и было. 15 минут в такси - и вот мы уже в самом центре старой Риги, которую невозможно толком разглядеть в той ночи. Но как ни крути, зеленую вывеску Bar.ber Room пропустить невозможно.
На входе расстелены колоритные ковры, внутри 80 дискоболов и на редкость бесподобный звук. За пультом диджея - неповторимый Федя Фомин, под которого одинаково обожают плясать как в России, так и в Латвии.
"Штрафная!" - объявляет А., и протягивает "Белугу" с черной икрой. Этот коктейль - главный шедевр Bar.ber Room. Не менее шедевральна стойка с парфюмом на цепях около туалетов и тот факт, что днем этот бар превращается в парикмахерский салон. Это именно тот бар, где днем стригут, а вечером танцуют.
Когда начинает играть Royal T, я понимаю, что моим каблукам придет конец, а значит, пора от них избавиться. Тем более, когда они уже запечатлены без хозяйки в Instagram еще одного замечтательного А. 
В это время другой московский приятель уже вовсю зажигает на барной стойке, не жалея собственного костюма. Кстати, стойка с подсветкой тоже привезена из Москвы вместе с атмосферой.

The bar is full of people. The most luckiest are in t-shirts with gold Bar.ber, the other ones are with glasses in clouds of smoke and streams of light chaser. At first sight it is very similar to Moscow “Simachev Bar”. But just at first sight. Though, local public admit that sort of that is in short supply in Riga. As for me – I didn`t have any energy to dance to my favorite tracks after 5 hours and two wonderful days were supposed to come onwards, full of house parties of Riga.

Бар по уши заполнен людьми. Особо везучие в футболках с золотым Bar.ber, другие везучие - с бокалами в клубах дыма и потоках светомузыки. На первый взгляд это очень похоже на московский "Simachev Bar". Но только на первый. Впрочем, как признаются местные жители, Риге всегда не хватало нечто подобного. Мне же спустя 5 часов уже не хватало сил на танцы под любимые треки, а впереди предстояло еще два прекрасных дня, наполненных рижскими домашними вечеринками.
